Write By The River literary festival takes place in Bedford across the weekend of 18 to 20 September 2026, featuring author talks, book signings, workshops, and events at venues across Bedford’s riverside setting. Ainkaran will present The Fire Walker, as part of the Local & Indie Author Showcase, a dedicated space for authors with a connection to Bedfordshire and the surrounding area, as well as writers published by some of the brilliant independent presses doing such exciting work across the UK.
