The “Saraswathi Mahal of Nallur Theme – Middle of the Library Tunnel” track features on the Resonance EXTRA FM / New New World Radio “Tse Tse Fly Middle East” August 2020 radio broadcast, which is now available online. Part of a monthly curation by artist/activist Simon Coates, this programme has long championed independent, experimental and new sound art and music from North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. Violin Arangetram 2002 flashback

Hi all! To celebrate having my official website for a few years now, I wanted my first blog post here to recapture a memory of one of my early milestone stage performances for you online! This is a flashback to 2002 and my Violin Arangetram at Harrow Arts Centre in London under the tutelage of my violin guru Dr. Lakshmi Jayan. Accompanied by wonderful co-artists and rasikas, these photos bring back many cherished memories. While this was not my first ever stage performance, I’m fairly sure it was my first television broadcast one. Here’s to many more performances!
